Motion sensitivity

⚠ Motion needs a low-res substream and this camera doesn't have one set — no motion or AI events will be generated (recording is unaffected). Set the substream URL in Settings → Cameras; most brands expose one and it's auto-filled when the camera is added by discovery.

⚠ Motion can't decode this camera's substream — no motion or AI events are being generated (recording is unaffected). This usually means an H.265/HEVC substream: switch the substream codec to H.264 in the camera's own settings and motion recovers on its own.
